There are no methods coming automatically after creating excel object.

Hi Folks,
Previously when I used to create excel object then after putting dot automatically all the methods were used to come in drop down , but from the past two days automatically the methods are not showing.
The script to object which I used:

Dim xl
Set xl=createobject ("excel.application")
xl. {here after xl. no dropdown is coming automatically as shown in pic attached}
]
To solve this issue I......
>restarted my application/computer
>tried setting values in QTP/Tools/Object Identification
>tried Google and QTP Help
but could not locate the problem
